RadiantGUARD® radiant barrier installs easily in either existing or new construction, requiring no special tools or protective clothing. It can reduce heating and cooling costs and is appropriate for a wide range of applications.

We offer three different grades of our radiant barrier products: Standard, Premium, and Ultima. Our Premium radiant barrier should be used when the project calls for a little stronger material and is for new and retrofit residential home attic and wall installations.

Our Ultima radiant barrier product is our strongest grade aluminum foil. Ultima should be used for contractor-grade applications and is ideal when you need the ultimate in strength and durability. It is our most popular selling radiant barrier version for new and retrofit installations.

• If installing on top of roof rafters before decking is applied, choose Premium or Ultima. These products can easily be draped between the rafters to gain the necessary air space needed for the radiant barrier to work efficiently.

• If installing directly under roof rafters in the attic, choose Ultima. This product is extremely durable and is easily installed when stapling to the underside of the rafters.

• If installing on the attic floor, choose Premium. This product is easy to lay over existing insulation like a blanket.   NOTE:  Ultima "perforated" can also be used on the attic floor.  It is our most popular selling version due to its durability.

• If installing as a house wrap, choose Ultima. This product is extremely durable and is easily installed with staples or nails.

Do you need a perforated or solid radiant barrier?

Premium and Standard are only available in perforated versions.  Ultima is offered in both a "perforated" and "solid vapor barrier" version.  For all attic installations, we recommend "perforated."
