What Is Bubble Foil Insulation Radiant Barrier
Radiant GUARD® Bubble Reflective Insulation Provides Multiple Benefits
RadiantGUARD®
Bubble insulation products consist of two layers of bubble material
laminated between layers of aluminum foil to provide excellent thermal resistance.
The bubble contains an air retention layer designed to provide increased
strength and puncture resistance.

Insulation is used to either contain heat for maintaining
warmth, or to resist heat for maintaining cold. In many applications, radiation
is the dominant mode of heat transfer. RadiantGUARD®
Bubble is considerably more effective than conventional insulations
in reducing radiant heat transfer.
RadiantGUARD®
Bubble reflects up to 97% of radiant energy in addition to resisting
other types of heat transfer thus providing effective insulation.
Bubble insulation is ideal for crawl spaces,
radiant floor heating, and basic floor heat retention
applications as well as for insulating pole barns,
post frame, and metal and steel
buildings.
Radiant barrier bubble insulation is ideal in locations
where you cannot provide at least a 3/4 inch air space as necessary for
radiant barriers to block the radiant heat. The enclosed air spaces
in the bubble insulation gives you the necessary air space automatically.
Bubble insulation is also an excellent vapor barrier and it's important
to remember to butt all edges next to each other during installation and
tape all seams to ensure an air tight vapor barrier.
Our bubble insulation radiant barrier products consist
of *TWO* layers of bubble insulation material laminated
between layers of our radiant barrier aluminum foil to provide excellent
thermal resistance (R-value up to 15.4 for downwards heat
flow). The bubble insulation material contains an air retention layer designed
to provide increased strength and puncture resistance and reduce conductive
heat while the foil side(s) BLOCK 97% of the radiant heat.

*NOTE* - When comparing our
bubble insulation products to other competitors, make sure you know
how many layers of bubble insulation the other products contain.
Some products only contain ONE layer of bubble
insulation material. Our bubble products with TWO
layers make them more effective at blocking the radiant
heat.
All our bubble insulation products are comprised
of 7 layers giving you maximum strength and durability - two outer
layers of aluminum foil blocking 97% of the raidant heat each bonded
to a tough layer of polyethylene for strength surrounding two layers
of bubbles which resist conductive heat flow with an additional
middle layer of polyethylene for added strength.

WHITE/Foil bubble insulation is designed
for applications where non-cured concrete will come in contact with the
insulation (heated floor slab installations) or metal building installations
where an asthetic indoor look is desired.
NOTE: Always place WHITE
side towards any non-cured cement mixtures. Foil side will corrode
if it comes in contact with non-cured cement.
High-Efficiency Performance of Radiant Barrier Bubble Insulation
Thin, lightweight material provides
resistance against the three types of heat flow: conduction, convection
and radiation. It forms an effective barrier against moisture, air currents
and vapors, while resisting fungus, insects and nesting rodents.
Radiant Barrier Bubble Insulation Is Easy to Use
Lightweight, compact and pliable
yet resistant to punctures, tears and cracking. Conforms easily to fit complex
shapes. Installation is quick and simple.
Radiant Barrier Bubble Insulation Has Outstanding Safety, Health and Environmental
Benefits
Clean, non-toxic, fire-retardant (Class A & Class 1)
and made with 20% recycled plastic. No special clothing or protective equipment
is necessary for handling or installation.
Radiant Barrier Bubble Insulation Is Cost-Effective and Versatile
An economical solution for a wide
range of
industrial, manufacturing and consumer applications.
Typical Applications for Radiant Barrier Bubble Foil Insulation
- Commercial and residential building
- Insulation for food and drug shipping
- Automotive/transportation
- Retail/do-it-yourself
